graphixgen Posted September 28, 2010 Posted September 28, 2010 hi, i m a avid cod2 online player & engage my opponents on weekends for hours. sometimes while playing online my connection goes down & a "network cable disconnected" error pops up, freezing the game. then after i reset my broadband connection & try to rejoin the game, this errir stating "KEY CODE IN USE, TRY RECONNECTING LATER" blocks my connection & then i have to wait a long time before i can join again. i read a posting in a similar thread here that said one needs to restart the pc in order to rejoin again but it's not helping me either. kindly guide me a way to deal with this error, if it persists. thank u very much. OP - that's simply the key servers waiting to clear your key out of their system. Unfortunately there's not really anything you can do about it - it should clear up after a few minutes though.
