Overclocking a Athlon 2 X4

Hey guys, I am new here, and would like to ask some questions.

I might buy an Athlon 2 X4 and would like to explore some OC options. What do you guys reccomend for this. I looked at a Chil tec cooler and some water coolers but i wasn't really sure. i have a fairly large Full ATX case (a chenbro Server case) I am sure that this question has been ased a lot, so please do not shoot me for asking. I was thinking about takeing the coil to an old mini fridge and building a box to put it in and then building a fan system with a filter (to keep water from getting in the case). Then putting fans at the back of the case to shoot warm air out. I currently have a SpinQ Fan system on my CPU wich is nice but i can't overclock with it because my AMD Athlon x2 6000+ gets REALLY hot. Also something else i wanted to ask: is there a certain technique i should use for Thermal Paste? If there is could somone link me a video? i looked at some techniques and while there are many i am not sure witch is better to use and witch is not

Thanks

Derek

EDIT: Something i forgot to add was that i have a K9A2 CF.

So i drew up a basic design of what i want to do...But before you look at the design im going to explain it. The first part of the design is going to be a very small AC unit most likely one that uses water and ice. The AC unit will then blow cold air into the Radiators. The Radiators i am looking at are triple 140mm radiators from Xoxide.com...There will be tubes that will push the hot air out vents that will be cut into the metal case i am going to build. There will be either A large 240mm Fan in the front of the case or 6 or 9 120s in the front. The motherboard will be in a vented enclosure(the same as the fans). This will be to keep air circulating through the case. The Raidiators will be in their own sealed enclosure. I will use a liquid cooler for this whole thing. The Case shouldn't be that hard to make as i know people who can weld and make anything out of metal. The hard part will be finding an AC unit small enough to make it so the box i make isn't a giant square lol...and need 3 people to pick up i know Stop and shop sells very small room conditioners, something designed to be put on a table or something

The whole point of the AC is to cool below room temperature since i know thats where most liquid and fan cooling systems Fail

This is the diagram primitive yes but might give a better explanation. I would just need to know 2 things. Would i really need 2 radiators in this case and do you guys think this might bring me down to negatives?

@IVYTHOS i am really not interested in a FAN CPU cooler. I want to overclock a lot.
