snakeiz2 Posted April 25, 2010 Posted April 25, 2010 Am running my system at 3.640 ghz. My NB and Ht are set at x8 =2080 Iv read that my HT should be kept as close to 2000 as possible but how about my NB iv tested it at x9= 2380 it runs stable and passes stress testing for 1HR just fine. At x10 no luck there. So should i run my NB at x8=2080 or x9=2380 how can i tell wich one is better? Thanks SYSTEM INFO: V v v
cirro Posted April 26, 2010 Posted April 26, 2010 I'd stick with whatever is highest and stable!
sack_patrol Posted April 26, 2010 Posted April 26, 2010 yea, basically do tests and go for the highest and most stable speeds. If the testing shows that x9= 2380 is stable, but not x10, then x9= 2380 is your final destination.
snakeiz2 Posted April 30, 2010 Posted April 30, 2010 I did some benchmark testing i get bests results with both NB&Ht at 2380. I thought we needed to keep the ht near stock 2000. Just one thing when stress tested it will reboot after 15mins I tried to changing the CPU-NB V from 1.177, 1.180, 1.186, 1.89 to no avail at times it will hang when booting in welcome screen. I have everything set on auto except dram-v and cpu-v or should i be looking else where for NB to be stable. Thanks
