Annoying screen on bootup

Well, here's my prob. I ran a clean install on a fresh HDD with Windows Home basic and then tried to upgrade to XP pro, but that bluescreened because of some error with "PCI.SYS". So, i then installed Windows 7. But on bootup, after doing the DMI check or whatever, it asks me to select between: Previous Version, Windows 7, and Windows XP Installer. This is getting really bothersome, and I need to get rid of the Windows XP installer and previous version options and have the computer boot to windows 7 without prompting me. I've tried cancelling the install with no avail by booting from the disk, and trying to terminate the install, and I've tried changing the boot sequence, but that hasn't done any good. Theres this file in my C drive called "$WIN_NT$.~BT" which might be the install files, but if anyone knows how to fix this, it would be highly appreciated.

Thanks,

Arnie

Hust for your information: The PCI.SYS error is caused when you have a PCI-E video card and an old (SP-1 or older) version of XP. If you slipstream an XP install with SP2 or later, that problem will go away.
