Can screensavers freeze prime 95? Or the power saving mode on your monitor settings that turns it off?

well, look. screensaver can probably screw up prime95 if oyu're running both <_< but hey I dont see the point in screen saver. mine's off. better yet fiddle with power options, i.e. when monitor turns off, when the PC sleeps, etc to get what you want. I really don't see the point of "power saver" scheme.

if you're plugged in all the time (desktop), mine's all off. no monitor sleep, no screensaver, no HDD shutdown (not that it would while doing something). but general sleep can be OK if you're not usin' PC for over an hour.

It depends on what you have your priority set at on Prime 95, If your using a low priority, it shouldn't be much of a problem, but if your using a priority of 9 or 10, it will make your system slow to respond to other programs and user input. On long runs of Prime my monitor shuts down, and will be very slow to wake up, but has never screwed with prime 95 in doing so.
