I have tree channel lines so did you skipped the center one?
I would do all 3 but with a thinner longer line. Can't tell you for sure though since I don't have a 4 heat-pipe direct touch cooler. Try doing a test run and see what works best for you.

You can always do the finger with plastic bag method too (last method mentioned on the previous page on the same link), but on the processor instead of the heatsink base. :)

I tried the lines and it seems if i dont put enough it squezz thru the channels and to get it perfect it seems like alot of paste to do so. I then tried the plastic wraped finger its seems alot better i use about almost a pea size ? is do you finish it off with a card or just as smooth as can be with the finger?

I don't use the finger/card method myself so I can't tell you, but yes you do have to use a bit more to fill the gaps between the channels. Anyone else with HDT coolers want to share their experience/suggestions? :)

There a no. of ways to apply thermal paste. I can say that if you use the cc method at least you know that the whole hs is covered.

Just don't use to much. To much or too little = the same problem.

Ok so room temps are at 72F I ran my first test today ran For 1hr temps kept at 35-38c never rose above that and better yet i drop my cpu-v to 1.47 when before with the stock cooler i had to have it at 1.51 to pass prime95 with temps 65c and climbing.

In the bios theres setting for the fan i think its 25, 37.5, 50, 75, 87.5 I have it set at 37.5 is this cpu percentage or Temp ?
