zheka Posted February 11, 2010 Posted February 11, 2010 I recently bought a new motherboard, Gigabyte EP45-UD3P Rev 1.6, and when I'm in BIOS, i have my multiplier set to x7.0 and FSB to 428. When I boot to windows (Win 7 64bit) it shows me my multiplier is x6.0. My previous Gigabyte EP35-DS3L with same windows had no problems. Any ideas why its not staying at x7.0? It's an option in the BIOS (C1E and/or SpeedStep and/or EIST), but there really is no reason to disable it...
