Youraputz Posted July 28, 2002 Posted July 28, 2002 so im trying to hack the xp login screen which must be simple enough, i downloaded the loginui file from the guide on this site and now i think i just need to replace the old file with the new one...well you have to do it in dos...now when i use a boot disk to get into dos it cant see my OS partition b/c its NTFS...so anyone know how to get into dos that can see ntfs, or get a bootdisk that will fix it for me...or just another way to hack the login screen? Go to this reg key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon Find this vale, or make a new DWORD value for LogonType Change the number to represent what style you want to use: 0 = Classic Mode, 1 = XP Welcome Screen Share this post Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
