I am having real difficulty in locating a replacement and wondered if you guys could help. The fan in question is an Adda AD0912UB-U7BGL, does anone have any idea where I could get one. Regards Jamie And my first post as well... n00bs I just recovered from something similar. I stuck my finger in that fan and broke a blade off. I got no response from Saphire, and saw the same thing you did - the fan is a AD0912UB-U7BGL, and it's not to be found in any catalogs. That's because the "U7BGL" designation refers to that thin aluminum frame it's mounted on. I bought and cannabilized a new AD0912UB-A70GL. This fan uses the same blade assembly, but has a more enclosing plastic case around it. It was about $12-15 from Newark electronics. Remove your old fan - take care of small screws and try not to lose any. Very carefully peel back the foil sticker from the old fan, and you'll find a tiny snap ring on the groove of the fan shaft. Remove with tiny ring spreaders, or an Xacto knife, screwdriver, and anything else you can find. Don't let it go flying. Behind the snap ring is one more tiny bushing. After those two are removed and carefully set aside, the old fan blade assembly will slide out of the two bearings it passes through. The AD0912UB-A70GL comes apart the same way. The fan blades and shaft are all you have to swap. The wires and the connector stay on the old fan frame. Carefully install the new fan blade/shaft assembly, probably with the two newest bearings, and replace the bushing and snap ring. Put it all back together, and it's good as new. This is probably too late to help you, but it may be useful to the next guy. Regards Jamie Well...I'm not sure if you can get a cooler replacement. If you bought the card not too long ago maybe u could RMA...I don't know where and how u bought it though so this may be useless to you. Now, if you find yourself in the position where you need a new cooler, I think that for not too much money you can get a nice aftermarket cooler that will cool better and you won't need to spend a fortune. If you try to fix the cooler yourself with another fan, then just get a fan with the same dimensions and maybe a close resemblance to the number of the fins. After that, I can't really tell you how to fix it since I'm not that savy when it comes to fan fixing. I'd still suggest you get a new cooler for the card because if your fan fix doesn't quite work you'll have spent money for nothing, but with a new cooler you'll give a bit more but you'll know that you'll have a 100% working cooler.
