karnavor Posted January 10, 2010 Posted January 10, 2010 My cpu core is set somewhere between 1.32-1.34 in bios but both Everest and CPUZ say it's 1.25. Which one is the accurate reading? Motherboard is p55m-ud2.
PingoPongo Posted January 10, 2010 Posted January 10, 2010 Software voltage monitoring isn't too accurate. Altho BIOS might be a bit wrong too.
Scottike Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 (edited) If your in doubt, go by your Bios voltage reading. It's more likely to be correct than any of the software readings. Bios readings can be off a bit too, but their usually closer than anything else. Also be sure that your not mistaking supply voltage to the cpu for core voltage, core voltage will always be less than the voltage being supplied to the cpu. I know that CPU-Z will tell you the core voltage, and sometimes the bios will only allow you to change and read the supply voltage to the cpu.
