Hendrixism Posted November 9, 2009 Posted November 9, 2009 I'd like to upgrade my CPU, RAM, and graphics card. I've had this computer for almost two years, and it could definitely use it. I'm not necessarily looking for top of the line stuff, just enough where I can play PC games smoothly, and have faster computer all around. I'm not computer illiterate but I'm not exactly an expert on part switches and compatibility and such, so any suggestions on compatible parts that don't cost too much would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
AIinc Posted November 9, 2009 Posted November 9, 2009 (edited) If you can open up your system info and find the Motherboard, cpu socket type, make & model-memory type, amount, and speed-Graphics, if they are onboard, or does it use a PCI-E video card, and if so, what card is it. These are specs we can work with, and let you know how, or what you can do. If you have the program "Everest", it will give you all of the info you need! nns Posted November 9, 2009 Posted November 9, 2009 GPU can't be replaced easily.. Proccy (looks like a 775 scoket) and RAM shouldn't be an issue.. However, call Dell and ask what proccy are supported by the mobo and that would be necessary coz its an OEM board so limited support!!
