Nakchee Posted October 24, 2009 Posted October 24, 2009 its not the processor thats at that temp, processor temps are between 33-35 idle,i think its the northbridge chipset on the motherboard thats getting that hot, thats whats worrying me
Boinker Posted October 24, 2009 Posted October 24, 2009 Sorry, I misread that one. Im pretty sure it runs in line on the heatpipes on the NB-MCP-SB-mosfets maybe the thermal goo for it is not sufficiant for transfering heat. Go back to factory clocks for a 15 burn in and see what they are stock?

Nakchee Posted October 24, 2009 Posted October 24, 2009 those temps for the mcp ARE at stock levels i havent changed anything yet,but i am worried that if i do try to overclock those temps may get even higher, although i'm not sure yet if i'll just need to oc my cpu or all at same time,i.e ram nb etc, again thankls for all the advice,as far as the flashing new bios is concerned i dont need to as the bios i already have seems to be working fine
