Help on a E2200 T_T

So I freshly moved everything onto my new comp.

Currently using 3x Fans.(2x Extra 1x CPU Cooler)

The CPU Cooler is a Xigmatek Dark Knight and my temps jump a lot @ random.

Motherboard is a Asus P5Q Turbo.

So I download the Asus tool called TurboV which is their program to help overclock.

It won't go past 2.20GHz or my comp freezes on me.

I've heard of people going to around 3.0GHz with ease.

Can anyone help me OC' this? =[

Well sure there are limits. Going too low wont do anything bad, it just wont work, but if you use too much voltage then you can just kill the CPU.

The stock CPU voltage should be 1.3V, id try something like 1.34v and see how high it can go. Also monitor the temps with something like coretemp or realtemp and check stability with something like Prime95.

x11 multiplier??? Stock multiplier is x12 so why not just leave it at?

You must have a bad overclocking chip; its either that or some/all of the newer batched E2xxx chips don't do so well when it comes to overclocking wehn compared to older batches.

My stock Multi is 11x what the heck...

And the temps are 35/35 idle and 45/45load.
