Tim1981 Posted August 22, 2009 Posted August 22, 2009 I have just looked at my DRam Frequency in CPU-Z and it says 360.0mhz?Is this to do with the speed step option?
AIinc Posted August 22, 2009 Posted August 22, 2009 Most likely! I usually disable speedstep, and C1E
Tim1981 Posted August 22, 2009 Posted August 22, 2009 I have just had a quick look at my motherboard.Should my 2 sticks of ram be right next to each other or should there be a gap inbetween them.Atm there is a gap.
AIinc Posted August 22, 2009 Posted August 22, 2009 That should be correct! Just run CPUZ and under the memory tap see if it says Dual channel, or Single channel.

Tim1981 Posted August 22, 2009 Posted August 22, 2009 Yes I have just started from scratch.Booted up at stock and now rebooted at 3.4ghz.So hopefully it will boot at 3.6 next time I change up.
AIinc Posted August 22, 2009 Posted August 22, 2009 Do you have the cpu vcore back on "Auto"? That may be the way to go, but as your having problems, I'd say if you can get it back to 3.6, that would be great! I think you may be having memory issues? When you get the cash you should order some matched memory! A dual kit. Mushkin, or OCZ.
Tim1981 Posted August 22, 2009 Posted August 22, 2009 Well the highest I can go now is 3.4.It freezes at 3.6.This problem seems to be happening since I started changing the cpu voltages. But I set it back on auto before I tried reoverclocking.
