The Smith Posted August 21, 2009 Posted August 21, 2009 What are your RAM timings set at? If they are set on Auto, that might be the problem. Just manually set them at what they should be at 1600MHz. Also, the first thing I would have done is reduce the CPU-NB and HT multiplier so that only the CPU cores are overclocked. Then maybe you can find which component is the culprit. Overclocking one component at a time is always the ideal.
alexboy26 Posted August 21, 2009 Posted August 21, 2009 well i reset all the settings to default and just tweak the ram to 1:4 so i can get 1600, but the stress test says a calculation error .. again... so i dont know what to do, if i should raise de voltage or the timings or what? RAM 6GB 9 - 11 - 11 - 24 - 40 - 1T cpu-z thanks
potatochobit Posted August 21, 2009 Posted August 21, 2009 (edited) lower the FSb to under 3.4 lower the NB to 2200 or less stop tweaking the ram see if the problem goes away Edited August 21, 2009 by potatochobit
