I know AMD OverDrive will set clock speeds at startup. i know there are other utils that will also
Verran Posted August 15, 2009 Posted August 15, 2009 Check the values using CPU-Z. I'm pretty confident you'll see that the overclock is just fine in Vista.

Is your processor set to step down its speed when it's idle? Most do this for power saving unless you tell them otherwise. You should try running a stress test like SuperPI, OCCT, or Prime95 and watching CPU-Z while you do. EDIT### Feel free to ignore this if you want, but on another topic: It wouldn't hurt to slow down a bit and put some real punctuation and capitalization in your posts. They're kind of hard to follow. Also, you'd get a lot more people reading your thread if you gave it a title that actually described it, like "Overclock Not Showing In Windows". "problem" and "help" describe pretty much every single thread on this forum. ^_^
