taylorolsen11 Posted June 27, 2009 Posted June 27, 2009 hello i am new to the watercooling world so i would appreciate it if someone could help me i am planning to do a loop that will cool my i7 920 evga x58 classafied north and southbridge and 2 gtx 285's these are the parts i picked out Swiftech APOGEE GTZ SPECIAL EDITION http://www.performance-pcs.com/catalog/ind...oducts_id=25689 XSPC "Dual Bay-Res" Pump/Reservoir Combo http://www.performance-pcs.com/catalog/ind...oducts_id=23046 Koolance MB-EVX58CF http://www.performance-pcs.com/catalog/ind...oducts_id=25594 2 of the Swiftech MCR220-QP http://www.performance-pcs.com/catalog/ind...oducts_id=25250 and 2 of the ek gtx 285 waterblocks http://www.performance-pcs.com/catalog/ind...oducts_id=25704 could someone tell me if this enough to cool everything i was planning on my loop to go res-dual rad-cpu-nb-gpu-gpu i am very limited in places to put a rad in my lian li pc p80 unless i hang it off the back and i dont really want to unless i have to i would have posted pics of my case for you guys but my camera isnt working thank you Share this post Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

Residual heat produced by the pump dissipates into the water in the res adding heat to your system, while most likely minor its still not helping. Savan Posted June 28, 2009 Posted June 28, 2009 I wouldnt bother with wc for the north bridge. you arent really going to get much out of it, and you will be losing pressure in the loop by adding and un-needed block. If you want to cool the nb, you can probably get good heat sync for it.
