Hyper Threaded Posted May 5, 2009 Posted May 5, 2009 In terms of speed, you'll notice little or no difference with PC8500. The majority of your performance comes from the HTT and CPU clock. Hallandale Posted May 5, 2009 Posted May 5, 2009 Oh lord. I'm flip-flopping more than John Kerry. I'm going to go with Corsair VX550w. it's 25 bucks less than the 750w one. To someone more hardcore than me, i guess the 750w is better, but for what I'm doing, I don't really see any reason. I see that the VX550 is on the recommended PSU list http://forums.overclockersclub.com/index.php?showtopic=63579, so I'm sure it's just as decent a choice for me.
