tmann8869 Posted April 21, 2009 Posted April 21, 2009 Hey I'm just getting into the Overclocking Scene. I'm trying to overclock my processor and memory. I am having trouble finding the actual model of my MOBO. I have PC wizard and SIW. It gives me AN-M2(MCP685) But i have googled this and nothing has came up i'm starting to get pissed. I have searched the entire physical board for and kind of markings but I can't find any, other than some serial numbers that i have googled and not got anything. I know it is an ABIT board because when it starts up it says abit. Please Help Me!!!

I have searched the entire physical board for and kind of markings but I can't find any, other than some serial numbers that i have googled and not got anything. I know it is an ABIT board because when it starts up it says abit. Please Help Me!!! The Abit AN-M2 returns a lot of hits when I search using google. Most of the pics I have seen of the board have the markings directly under the PCIE slot which is pretty standard for motherboard manufacturers these days. Is there are a particular question you have about the board, or are you just trying find info on it? As you may know, Abit is no longer in business so finding information directly from them is going to be quite hard. Is this a mass produced system? Have you checked your BIOS to make sure you have proper overclocking options?
