Andrewr05 Posted April 1, 2009 Posted April 1, 2009 Some of those bay devices are gaudy and awful looking but that one actually looks pretty neat...

Vaelen2001 Posted April 2, 2009 Posted April 2, 2009 My current rig is about 2 years old, but I still love this case. There's no window because honestly it's a mess in there even with decent cable management! This bay device has temperature and fan monitors. You can speed up or slow down three fans, and monitor temperatures of three locations in either Celsius or Fahrenheit. You can set fan speed and temperature alarms and read 55 different memory cards. You also have one eSata and one USB external connection. My current setup is as follows: Temp I: Hard Disk Drive Temp II: nVidia geForce GTX 260 Temp III: Heat Pipe leading from CPU to cooling coil Fan I: Front 120mm fan Fan II: Back 120mm fan Fan III: Top 120mm fan All of my fans have fluid dynamic bearings allowing them to spin at a lower rate yet keeping CFM decent. Average rpm is 1100. Temps when system is not under load: HDD: 101F Video Card: 113F CPU Heat Pipe: 90F Youtube vid: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j2WndmzsLYs Photos: http://api.photoshop.com/home_1ab4c91a414b...def801107576260 http://api.photoshop.com/home_1ab4c91a414b...034f7fe4bb6cbf6 http://api.photoshop.com/home_1ab4c91a414b...733c286e6b4d10b http://api.photoshop.com/home_1ab4c91a414b...99f38c74803951a http://api.photoshop.com/home_1ab4c91a414b...c65cccce89e4aa3 Thank you for reading! --Vaelen2001
Andrewr05 Posted April 2, 2009 Posted April 2, 2009 Hmmm... I've got a P182 and I ws thinking that it wouldn't be worth having any bay devices... How does it work with the door having to be open? Does it work well? Does the panel sit flush enough in the extended position to close the door?

Yes I can have the panel extended and upright and then close the door without having to retract the screen. I usually leave my door open so it doesn't bother me. --Vaelen2001
