More Voltage in windows than in Bios!??

Recommended Posts

When I set Vcore to 1.30000 in bios, windows gives me 1.34 - 1.32 (CPUZ)... Why does it do that? Should I take bios or CPUZ into account for safety?

negative vdroop is possible. Happens alot with pencil mods. Its a good thing

Wrong. vdroop and vdrop are safety measures to make sure that your CPU doesn't get more volts from the mobo it should. And the Striker boards do have a stupid setting by ASUS in an effort to appease people that don't think vdroop or vdrop are good.

@ OP: Turn off LoadLine Calibration and it should solve your problem and make your voltages correct.
