Adverse effects of running GPU fan @ 100%???

there is no evidence to support that lower temps increase life expectancy at all. what it does do is increase stability. silicon contracts, tightening the pathways and preventing voltage leakage. voltage is what lowers life expectancy, but most hardware is designed to last anywhere from 10-20 years.

Thermal cycling is the worst thing you can do to any electronic part. If you maintain it at 60 degrees C for its entire life it'll last just as long as if it ran 30 C its entire life. If you constantly take it from 30 to 60 C and back again it'll die before either constant temperature chip.
