I'm so out of date...

Ok, its been ages since I've wanted to overclock. However, I am bored and overclocking popped in my head. I'm slowly upping it and stress testing my system, but I have a question about my CPU-Z memory results.

Below is a couple screenshots of CPU-Z. First is the CPU tab, second is the Memory tab.

Is the DRAM frequency supposed to be 429? Also, the FSB:DRAM ratio. If its corrent, then no worries, but like I said, its been ages and I just don't know the answer.

Also, my motherboard is an ASUS P5N-E

Memory

Base clock = 429 MHz

Data rate = Base clock x 2 = DDR858

PCrating = Base clock x 16 = PC6864

the 5-6-6-18-2T shows that the timings are on Auto (SPD default)... this is ok while you are overclocking the CPU/FSB/RAM... then when you are done you can reduce the timings

on the P5N-E, being an nVidia 6 series chipset, you'll be better off with RAM base clocks < 500 MHz, so don't worry if you have DDR1066 underclocked... you can maybe end up tightening to 5-4-4-12-2T assuming 2x2GB... maybe even CL4 and/or 1T
