SilentDeath001 Posted February 27, 2009 Posted February 27, 2009 morning everyone, i hit the 3.8 mark last night, running vista 64 ult. i finally broke down and tried the AOD program, found that at stock settings, i found information on each voltage setting , didnt see that in regular bios settings, also found a area to disable ACC advanced clock calibration. , question for ya nuclear. seems ive hit a spot where it doesnt matter if i increase the vcore more, it wont boot up, playing around with the other voltage settings might let me creep up alittle? or did i just find the limitations of the current chip iam using? i cleaned off the Ultra-extreme cooler and cpu last night, and went back to the MX-2 paste, found that it kept the cpu alittle cooler then the stock paste that came with the ultra-extreme 120. just alittle information for all of you. with the stock paste, at load, it reached 54C with the MX-2 i hit a max of 50C. so i didnt mind alittle work to take it back off and put the MX-2 paste back on. Happy Clocking, see you all later on!
