SixStones Posted February 18, 2009 Posted February 18, 2009 Hi guys, I am New in this Forum I am Quiet new to Overclocking, not so bad, do know some basic tho I am currenly using Intel q6600 2.4ghz With ASUS silent knight 2 cooler. Few days ago i managed to get a Stable 3.0ghz, with no problem booting my pc Ran prime 95 overnight with no errors I need a few advice on my thermal info Normal Temp, without doing anything is around 45-49 degree. Will never go above 50 ( issit ok ? ) Ran Prime95 Stresstest overnight and Temp was constant at 60 ( q6600 max temp is 65. 60 is hot) issit normal to be hot during stresstest? While playing games eg, FarCry2, Temp goes above 55, but wont hit 60 ( issit normal?) But the funny thing is, when i on my aircondition in my room, Normal temp from 45 drop all the way to 39. :S . and when i off my aircon, went up to 45 after 10 min Any advice or opinion? Timmy94 Posted February 18, 2009 Posted February 18, 2009 Those temps sound fine, max you would want to go is about 65-70C.

airman Posted February 18, 2009 Posted February 18, 2009 those temps are fine, but don't be mislead - the cooler the better (in most cases)
