Question About Ms Vista Dvd

Hey guy's

 

I ordered MS Vista Prem. 64bit.

 

I got my stuff in the mail today, and it came in a white sleeve, on the sleeve it shows that inside contains MS Vista 64bit.

 

I then open it up, and then open the dvd and I see on the dvd it self it says "This disc contains 32bit software only"

 

Does that mean I do not have the 64bit vers. of windows?

Or the software to install the 64bit platform is 32bit? lol..

 

Let me know if your guy's 64bit disc say the same thing.

I already sent an email out to Zipzoomfly so I can get the RMA process started ASAP if I need to.

My disc says 64bit on it...I'd say someone goofed on you. I have the Ultimate edition of Vista with the 32bit and 64bit DVD's. I also have the server 2008 install discs and they too differentiate between x86 or x64

Ya my 64 bit Vista Home Premium disk says "This disk contains 64-bit software only". So it sounds like you eather ordered the wrong one or were sent the wrong one.

yeah they packaged it wrong,

 

cuz right on this box it reads: Windows Vista Home Prem. SP1 64-bit English

Was the sleeve sealed with a red sticker?

If not then someone may have returned it to Zipzoom/swapped the disc.

Plus if the above is true they should not have taken it back/re-sell as these are the OEM ones, once opened it is yours.
