nsteger123 Posted October 31, 2008 Posted October 31, 2008 Ok, i bought this custom computer with an AMD Athlon 64 x2 dual core 5000+ BE and it was running at 3.2GHZ so like 6 months later i reinstalled vista and it dropped down to 2.6GHZ so i was wondering how i would over clock it to 3.0GHZ (because i was getting BSOD and i thought it was because of instability). And I downloaded CPU-Z and the core speed drops down to about 1GHZ sometimes because the multiplier and core voltage drop, is that normal?
