bg8780 Posted October 15, 2008 Posted October 15, 2008 My temps are currently sitting here: MCP: 58-60C SPP: 51-54C Any idea on how to cool these down, since i am interested in taking my FSB up another 100mhz. I can not do a fan mod to my northbridge since my TRUE does not leave any room at all for a aftermarket 60mm fan. However does anyone happen to know the dimensions and specs(cfm etc.) of the stock 780i northbridge fan? The fan i tried is 60mmx60mmx25mm. So was obviously too tall too fit. but maybe i can fit a 60mmx60mmx10mm. A for cooling of the southbridge I probably cant fit an after market heatsink like the ones from thermalright because my GTX 260 is too large and covers it. Any ideas guys?! Thank you so much! Onion Posted October 15, 2008 Posted October 15, 2008 Replace the crappy stock NB fan, I had another fan and flipped it, and it worked wonders. That fan died, and I am back to the original one though lmfao.
