rud3bwoy Posted September 29, 2008 Posted September 29, 2008 So i got a bsod that said memory management error now the only thing i changed in my oc was the nb was set to auto and i set it to 1.42 seemed stable to me,anyway can that be the cause of this error low nb at 3.5 ghz?and should i just leave it at auto? rud3bwoy Posted September 29, 2008 Posted September 29, 2008 guess it is the nb as soon as i ran prime 95 lots of ram tested even at 1.45 voltages i got a error when i set the nb back to auto it does not error...but dam auto makes my nb to hot on idle 74 c!is that normal for a asus rampage x48 at 3.5 ghz? rud3bwoy Posted September 29, 2008 Posted September 29, 2008 yea i guess i might have to do that this week, anyway is 1.43 or 1.45 nb voltages to low for this kind of oc?
rud3bwoy Posted September 29, 2008 Posted September 29, 2008 (edited) ugh same error went into cod 4 and memory management error!any ideas? also i found this error in the log The hardware has reported an uncorrectable memory error. btw for some reason my bios had the settings of cpu ratio set to 8 by it self,i never touched that so i re loaded defaults, that also might be the cause of the issue because i never had that option set so lets see if that fixes the oc back the way it was Edited September 29, 2008 by rud3bwoy
