1. The user you specified doesn't have access to your mysql database.

2. The user doesn't exist.

3. You typed the wrong password for that user.

I dont understand, i have not set up any type of database!! I dont recal making any usernames eather?? Lol , im a bit confused on how to set it up... i am use to carappy .asp !! what do i kneed to do to prepair to use this web forum? Do i have to creat anything? Thanks

You need to install MySQL on your box. Invision uses a MySQL database to store it's information, thus you will need to create a database for it once you have installed MySQL. You will also need to setup a user that has permissions to access the new database you create.

The main files to look at are within skins folder and sources folder. It's all PHP so it's not very hard to change anything, if you know PHP.

Or can i just have it replace the image, like... the OverclocersClub logo, at the top, do you just del..."Invision_logo.gif" and add "occ_logo.gif"? Or you you have to do some fancy editing that takes 5 hours, because you dont know the first thing about PHP

Like you said, just replace your logo with the file name of the image. That's the easiest way to do it. Change colors of things within the CSS style sheet.

Thanks for the help, but a bit more is needed! I have this file, atached! I am trying to edit the colors of the forum, and i screwed it all up.. luckely i made a backup but, could you help me in making a backround and text similar to overclockersclub! It would be great, then i could also anilyse what you did and mabe try and LEARN SOMETHING , it would be greatly apprishiated!!
