I've been hooked on Curb Your Enthusiasm. I've almost seen all of them... just a few left in Season 6.

Chronicles the United States manned space effort culminating in the missions to the Moon.

 

Excellent production values and a unique insiders look at the Moon Shot.

 

Spider has to be my favorite episode of that series, can't believe I neglected to mention it.

 

BoB is very good too.

 

Oh, for another BritCom, the IT Crowd is quite funny.

Andromeda - never really grabbed me especially as it was supposed to be from mr Roddenberry himslef

 

Gene Roddenberry only provided concept ideas through earlier writings. The same goes for "Earth, Final Conflict". His widow, Majel Barrett-Roddenberry, released notes that Gene had written about several concepts to contemporary writers then signed on as an "Executive Producer" for each series.

 

The same goes for Star Trek - Deep Space Nine, Star Trek Voyager and Enterprise. All used ideas and concepts originated by Gene Roddenberry.

Watched the first 3 episodes of BoB this weekend and really enjoyed it. Once I've finished it I'll look into some of the others but I don't think some of them made to this side of the pond

Speaking of BoB, the actor that plays the Lieutenant (later Captain) was pretty good in Life.

 

And the dude from Friends really found his role as a complete wienie.
