Special_K Posted December 11, 2003 Posted December 11, 2003 I have a DFI NFII Ultra B mobo and it has 6 channel onboard audio. It also has a front IO that comes with it. I hooked it all up and everything worked perfect. Now i removed the IO bay because i dont really need it, and i got no front channel audio. i got 5.1 surround sound speakers, and i was wondering if anyone has ever heard of this problem before. I think that if i hook everything back up it would work but i dont wanna do that until i get a better IO bay with temp controls and everything. Please help! Guest FxXP Posted December 12, 2003 Posted December 12, 2003 the same type of thing happened to me. i disconnected the front panel audio on my asus a7n8x deluxe, and now i have no onboard sound. yea Put jumpers on the third and fifth row of the sound header pins and you will be able to use the rear jacks again. You have to close the circuit that way. (Note: This answer is for the Asus A7N8X Deluxe Only!)
