Guest Headwound Posted November 10, 2007 Posted November 10, 2007 Hey guys, I'm having a problem with my Call of Duty 4 demo install. Every time I try to change the resolution (I haven't tried to change anything else) it the game switches back to my desktop, sits there, and then gives me a Directx popup saying that "DirectX has encountered an unrecoverable error. Please refer to the readme" or something to that effect. I've already tried the current nvidia driver release, and I've tried the brand new (as of Oct. 30) beta drivers, and still nada. Anospa Posted November 10, 2007 Posted November 10, 2007 Yeah had the same issue. Just ended up playing through it anyways, went to uninstall it, and it wouldn't finish.
