Thermaltake Media Lab

I was looking at the Thermaltake Media Lab. Has anyone had any experience with this remote/receiver combo? What are your thoughts? I am planning on getting this and then programming it into a RF remote control (I know what I am doing so don't worry, the RF remote control comes with IR receivers that you tape to the front of your IR devices, making them RF devices). This is an alternative to getting a mouse/keyboard combo that may or may not work at a certain distance. Just wondering what peoples experience is with product. Thanks in advance!
