Guest ElAguila Posted January 28, 2007 Posted January 28, 2007 I have a couple of questions about the Gigabyte DS3 mobo(http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16813128012. Does it allow you to select a lower cpu multi for the C2D cpu's? I know one of the ASUS boards has a bios update that allows this. Is there a problem with the memory dividers other than the 533 and 800 divider?
Thasp Posted January 29, 2007 Posted January 29, 2007 I can set multi 6, 7, and 8 on my e6400. I don't know if there is a "problem" with dividers. All I have used is the one that sets DDR800 at 266 FSB, and the one that sets DDR92* at 464 FSB. They have worked just fine. Just be careful in setting RAM timings. It defaulted my RAM to have a read to ACT delay of 0 to 19 instead of 42... caused random shutdowns without turning back on for no reason. It drove me insane for a week. It is now http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16813128012 That one says it has 6 sata3GB ports and raid 0. Is that the one you are talking about? Guest ElAguila Posted January 29, 2007 Posted January 29, 2007 They must have it backwards. On the Gigabyte website it says rev 1 has raid and rev 2 doesnt.
Guest ElAguila Posted January 29, 2007 Posted January 29, 2007 Do all of the sata ports on this board support raid 0 or just the ones on the gigabyte controller?
