Clawhammer Posted December 21, 2006 Posted December 21, 2006 ok i know its double the stock frequency .Has any1 got thier 250gb to boot at400+ fsb, cant seem to get her convinced.here what ive tried with the sempron ram 12 200mhz 3-4-4-8 400 htt HT x2 (tried em all lol) cpu x7 cpuv 1.45+123% vdimm 3.2v chipset 1.9v ive tried pretty much all the realistic cpu multiplyers voltages etc....still no luck.maybe the clawhammer might do it. just wanted to see if any has boot'd or been stable with 400+fsb on the 250gb? vega27 Posted December 21, 2006 Posted December 21, 2006 http://www.dfi-street.com/forum/showthread.php?t=11318 if you look at the 754 overclocking database, you'll see the highest FSB OC is 350MHz (very last thread). you'll also see a 345, 338, 335 and 333 so i seriously doubt you'll find a processor AND board both capable of 400 without some very exotic cooling and/or mods. that thread can prolly answer a lot of other questions you might have. that board is a beast, tho. hate to say there's anything it can't do but a 200% OC of the FSB is too much to ask of a 754 cpu and mobo, at least without some seriously exotic cooling. how high have you gotten it so far? please tell me you didn't start plugging away at 400 : Share this post Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

I hummed and hawed and decided i love this board to much. in my opinion this is the GREATEST socket 754 board and shees a keeper.I hope your friend can get his hands on 1.
