Technohydra Posted December 15, 2006 Posted December 15, 2006 I'd start by posting your Genie bios and dram settings so we can try to help you out. Probably you tried to push to far with not enough voltage to support it. Get those settings up, and we'll see if we can't help you out. Praz Posted December 16, 2006 Posted December 16, 2006 You need to read the Overclocking Guide. The link is in my sig.

wevsspot Posted December 16, 2006 Posted December 16, 2006 Please visit the link provided by Praz. Read the tutorial, then re-read it again. Once you think you have a firm grasp on overclocking a Socket939 board, visit both the Stock Speed Database as well as the Socket939 OCDB and find some forum members running same or similar motherboard, cpu and memory configuration as yours. All of the postings in those two threads are confirmed bootable and stable. According to your sig. you are running 4X512mb of value select RAM. If this is accurate, don't expect stellar overclocks from your RIG. The key is following the overclocking guide and finding a sweet spot for your particular hardware configuration. Also, in you BIOS memory settings, be sure to disable CPC when you are first starting out.
