I bumped all the times up on purpose BC it wouldnt stay on for amore than 4 seconds, I eman, how much higher can I go? :S BTW, Opty 165 EDIT: those are the timings I am tring to hit 3GHz on
aLeXv305 Posted October 23, 2006 Posted October 23, 2006 I think you might have hit your limit. I ran an Opty 152 and got to 3.0 ghz and I tried everything and couldnt get it past 3.0ghz stable. Try losening up your ram timings and changing your preamble manually to 6.0 or 6.5 nano seconds. Then try changing the TREF to around 4180 cycles or so. Praz Posted October 26, 2006 Posted October 26, 2006 All settings looks good. If you've tried adjusting Tref and DDS/DDDS then you have found your max clocks.
