petergiro Posted August 28, 2006 Posted August 28, 2006 First off im abit of a bios noob when it comes to flashing. so i used the Diamond flash utility hopeing it would make life easy. useing 2005/06/02 or NF3UD602 bios...my internet and floppy drive disappear. but i can save to bios, and it's unstable. useing 2005/07/11 or NF3ID711 bios..i get my internet back and floppy drive. but i can't save anything in bios..the computer just restarts over and over i don't even see an image on the screen so im wondering if there's anyway i can get the original bios that i had when i first got the MB. im going to try 2005/07/05 or nf3id705 bios... but i feel that i'am faceing a bigger problem here. update..well i tryed them all..im useing 2005/07/11 or NF3ID711..and i still can't save bios...i cleared Cmos many times and i still get the same result. sir_italia Posted August 28, 2006 Posted August 28, 2006 Hi and welcome to the forum the best option would to be to go the the BIOS section and download the TMOD cd this makes it so easy to flash the bios, and alos make sure to do the clear CMOS steps and u should be fine

wevsspot Posted August 28, 2006 Posted August 28, 2006 Also, Replace your m/b battery. They are often the cause of BIOS changes failing to save. Especially after you turn your computer off.

adreno Posted August 31, 2006 Posted August 31, 2006 petergiro, do you have SATA drives connected, and to which ports? If you could add this to your sig it would also be helpful. Thanks,
