cybervicke Posted July 23, 2006 Posted July 23, 2006 Hey guys I have a maxtor 250gb diamondmax 10 16mb cache IDE133 Im doing a reformat of the disk in Windows and what should i choose for it? Im going to have it as a extra drive to store stuff on and so i can take it out from the PC. When i want or something and still boot windows. Oceanborn Posted July 23, 2006 Posted July 23, 2006 If you want to use the drive as storage and still be able to boot from this drive you have to use primary.....you're only required to select "secondary" or "logical" if you create multiple partitions in the same HDD....which doesn't seem to be the case Share this post Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
