SOLD

Greetings,

I am selling my Opteron 165 0610DPMW. I have been running it stable 24/7 at 3.006GHz (334x9) with air cooling (Scythe Ninja). It can pass dual SuperPI 32M, OCCT, 3DMark01/03/05/06, etc. without any problems. It can also dual Prime for about an hour. I have included a CPU-Z verified screenshot below (as that is the only pic I currently have). You can also see by the pic, that this chip has a great memory controller (hence, running 2x1GB sticks at 300MHz). This is by far the best CPU I have ever owned. I'm looking to get $319 shipped out of it. Shipping will be to the CONUS via UPS. I am now including my Scythe Ninja heatsink in the deal.

Here is another screenshot I just found with the Opty 165 running with a set of OCZ Platinum EBs.

i dont mean to rain on your parade...but if it can only dual prime for ~ 1hr...then its not really stable in the eyes of most members here

I understand that... I was just being honest :)

See below for current fan situation :D

at what speed does it run dual prime stable for longer than an hour? i.e like 20+

I have never tried for 20+... The longest I have ever ran Prime was about 8 hours. It passed 8 hours at 2.9GHz, then I stopped it. I don't know exactly where the "breaking point" of MHz is.

BTW, I took my only case intake fan and put it on my Ninja :P So I basically have no intake fan(s) and a subpar fan on the Ninja. If I was to put the intake fan back in place and install a good 120mm onto the Ninja, it MAY be 8+ hours stable at 3.0GHz. I don't have any other fans at the moment... but I might try to order a nice 100CFM one for the Ninja :)

-Thanks

you don't need 100cfms for the ninja...hell a nexus fan will do just fine.

It's not amount the amount of air going over the fins rather just that some air is.

they are spaced apart real well.

the best thing you could do is set up a push/pull fan config
