and that will make it to get to 55C+ during sp2004 runs!!

Sure your temps aren't affecting the runs,I seem to recall it affecting mine in warmer weather.

Any way to test it by getting the rig close to some AC,I think charlie use to do that

Yep, the last runs (that halted both @ 7h+) I ran 250x9.5, so the temp never got above 43C...

edit:

I'll try lowering my vDimm and my vAGP i'll keep at 1.6v... maybe that could help.../

or maybe runin AGP @ 50mhz could help too... dunno.. i'm kinda lost here....

For sure buddy... every step i take i based on what i see from NF2+TCCD OCDB entries... and testing myself too, as i found the TicTac's 6/19Xt the best BIOS so far for me, as it gives the highest clocks and highest bandwidth too!

I'll try Darien's 50MhzAGP trick...

Thx!

If you want to try with APIC on, make sure you setup the MPS ver to 1.1.

It helps a alot on my rig.

It was the only way I could get the higher fsb's past 277.

I needed to enable apic of all things.

It may be worth checking into, even just to see if it makes apic work.

Try downclocking the video card if you got it oc'ed.

It might help a bit to figuer out the board a little.

Then again it might not, but it could help heat wise.

In any case, I'd try backing down on the cpu.

Just go for the fsb 1st, to figuer out something for a new everyday setup.

Then you'll know if it's bus or cpu related, or heat.

Something like that.

Afterwards you can verify agp/pci speeds, then cpu multi :).

Keep the cpu at a min of 2-2.1ghz btw.

Well, i can try, why not.. but what brought my fsb from 240 to 250 with some stability was turning this APIC off...

And.. what is this MPS?

edit: oh.. and what bios were you using when yu got that stable 280MHz, if may I ask?
