Guest JeB Posted May 2, 2006 Posted May 2, 2006 Hey Der1k I have had the same issue before. Use Driver Cleaner Pro from here http://www.drivercleaner.net/ to remove the realtek audio drivers. You will also need to remove the NF4 audio drivers windows so happily finds for you. Reboot. Download the NF4 mobo drivers from here http://www.nvidia.com/object/nforce_nf4_wi...2_amd_6.70.html and install When installing the new drivers - uncheck the nvidia audio drivers as the realtek ones are heaps better Reboot. Download the latest Realtek drivers from here http://us.dfi.com.tw/Support/Download/driv...G=A&SITE=US#TOP Install and Reboot. This should solve the audio issues I RMA'd my board twice, reinstalled the karajan audio module 4-5 times, reinstalled windows numerous times, flashes the bios heaps of times and eventried a PCi sound card only to find it was a mobo driver conflict. Hope this helps

OceanSeasforMe Posted May 2, 2006 Posted May 2, 2006 http://www.dfi-street.com/forum/showpost.p...966&postcount=6 I note you list a copy of sp-1 xp windows ? As per above link, you need SP-2 or you will have nothing but problems. Slipstreaming is an option and directions on how to do it are on the webpage here.
