Can't update BIOS

First post - please be nice

 

I currently have the standard installed BIOS. I'm trying to flash to 7/11 BIOS. I've tried with winflash d/loaded from DFi site, i get the message: This is not an AWARD bios.

 

I have tried with the NVIDIA nTune tool (2.05.15), comes back with the message: BIOS Ids do not match.

 

I don't have a floppy drive in my system. Any ideas please how I can flash my BIOS please? I must be doing something wrong, but can't see what...!

Go to the BIOS section in the main forum window and get "Tmods BIOS disk"

burn it to a cd and just boot from CD then chose your mobo and yer done.

I just used it 2 days ago and I cant believe how easy it was.

 

at the end of the update it says press F1 to restart, so hit F1 then go into your BIOS and straight away load Optimised Defaults then reboot and go into BIOS again and then use your normal settings and reboot.

 

PS burn it with Nero or whatever Utility for burning you use
