Pendragon Posted September 22, 2003 Posted September 22, 2003 Yeah DSL is 1.5 down. Well i have a technique if you don't mind messing with your phone lines. If you can manage to increase the voltage on the phone lines your dsl will be flying. Now there is only one way i know of doing that. The dsl is pretty much coming from the line with dialtone. if you can manage to remove the voice portion you dsl voltage ups significantly. one way is if you have the (DSL box) in your building or box. rip out the voice lines. or take a gun and shoot at the phone lines. put a couple holes in it and it will mess with the voltage. Upside Fast DSL Downside: Can't make phone calls. My father and i just installed a phone system and dsl this past weekend in a building. Its funny the things you can do with phonelines. Bell is actually testing a 3 mb on phone lines (with a few lucky peoples working there).
