Dr.Gonzo Posted March 18, 2006 Posted March 18, 2006 Hi! I am currently using the nf4 gigabit lan to connect to a switch, and from there on to my aDSL modem. Settings are-> 10.0.0.11 255.255.255.0 and gateway 10.0.0.138 If I enable the Marvel gigabit too, what settings should I configure in order to give internet (and local network) access to my ThinkPad which will be connected on the Marvel LAN? Per Hansson Posted March 18, 2006 Posted March 18, 2006 In Network Places rightclick the NIC that is connected to your ADSL bridge, select properties>sharing, enable it... The other NIC will now get an IP of 192.168.0.1 and a small DHCP server will be enabled if I'm not mistaken, otherwise you will have to config the ThinkPad with an IP in the 192.168.0.X range...
