whats the max safe settings that i can get out from My OCZ PC-4000 VX GOLD??

 

till now . i got 255FSB @ 2-2-2-5 @ 3.35v

 

DFI SLI-DR

A64 3500+

Sapphire X800 GTO

OCZ PC-4000 VX GOLD

OCZ Powerstream 520 ADj

2x80GB Seagate 7200.7 on Raid0

1x120GB WD1200JD

Creative Audigy 2 ZS

 

 

ive seen this ram working Fine @ 268Fsb @ 2-2-2-5 @ 3.5v in some websites... but i cant reach it. and i dont know why....i need help with this one..

 

any settings to hit that?!

Thats still a really good overclock. Don't forget that not every overclock will be the same either.

4v jumper is onand i tried 3.5v , no luck found

i tried to bump up the Voltage to 3.5v and FSB 260 ... and its barely stable .... can any one recomands me some good setting for this Rams??

Hi,

your overclock is nice:nod: 3.35v and 255MHz is a good result, forget the posted benchmarks/reviews on websites, these modules were handpicked and you can´t compare them with yours (sorry to say that...) in most cases.

Try to lower the volts to 3.2v (for 24/7) and try to avoid using the 4V jumper, there is a reason for that. In the modification section is a nice thread started by Andy@OCZ, if you have a PSU with adjustable rails you´ll be able to get more than 3.2v without using the 4v jumper.
