Read Premble time causes the difference...

...between whether or not the system will boot with the CPU overclocked or not. I think it's kind of insane that this one setting can so drastically effect my pc. I had to go through each setting seperately to figure out why my pc would boot to windows with one setting vs stalling at the DMI pool screen and rebooting itself.

 

I can boot with tight timings otherwise or extremely loose timings but only if read premble is set to 6 (it's specified as 5 default from the Gskill tech/thread on these forums) 5.5 doesn't work. Any other setting and it stalls at the part where Cmos is meant to load. I find this incredibly odd and baffling.
