Need Memory For Dfi Nf3 250gb !!!

I've just bought a DFI Lanparty NF3 250GB with an athlon64 2800 processor. I need your advice. What could be a good "bang for the buck" on this motherboard? I want something with good overclocking potential, but if possible that could let the system in synchronous mode (1:1) because I heard it's better for athlons. I think 512M will be good and cheaper.

Is this a good choice? :

Or else:

These prices are in canadian dollars.. anything to suggest in that price range?

of those choices, the only one to make is crucial. forget kingston, dont use kingston for performance machine. read the sticky in the recommendations part of the forum... it lists the best modules. g.skill is a good alternative for the price/performance ratio. check newegg.com.

basing your budget on 100CAD (roughly 86.14 USD), you could get 1gb of ram for even cheaper than what youve set (at newegg, of course)

recommended are g.skill, crucial ballistix (1gb kit is about 110USD) (ONLY for 512mb sticks of PC3200), corsair (so-so, tons of mem from them), geil, ocz

IMO, wintec ampo(one of my modules uses a brainpower pcb with tcc5 chips i believe, which is surprising considering i bought it for 40 bucks).. but thats just me, i dont th ink you find those very often as wintec is pretty much a no name brand (generic)

so you say it could be better to buy 1G value ram and to not overclock? ahhhhh I've just bought this DFI for that purpose! and I chose the NF3 because of my agp card, so I tought I would get a budget gaming computer..

I need your help guys, I don't know what to think about balistick since they have issues with dfi cards.. and also where I get it(NCIX.com) I would take the OPEN BOX ones, so it could be the old revision, which had some issues with dfi and other cards.. look here:

OK I hope you will answer my last question about balistix.. But now I've found 1 gig OCZ ram in my price range :

http://www.ncix.com/products/index.php?sku...CustomerReviews

What do you think about it? For me balistix timmings are more tight and overclockability better, but maybe 1GIG should improve more the performance than overclocking.. but in fact I should consider my tiny 2800 who will probably run at a lower frequency.. hmm I'll tell you guy my goal is to have a nice overclock but without burning my cpu.. ALSO I want it to run 1:1, so I will need to drop the coeff to 3 instead of 4 if I understand well... so what could I get from these OCZ?

impo .With that cpu your going to be locked at x8 You will be stuck on a 150 or 166 divider if you do any over clock above 300 fsb . so impo is that if it was me I would buy any 1 gig stick and call it good. G.skill being my first chorse . if your going to buy 512 sticks better be for finding ones with TCCD chips on them. All corsair XLs have TCCD chips

any 1 gig stick and call it good?? So no overclocking, is this what you say?? Man, I just bought this motherboard for OC, and I bought this small processor because of the price, I tought I could overclock it with this motherboard...

When you say over 300 FSB, for me it's enough!! What I want is my cpu running at around 2 or 2.2 GHZ, instead of 1.8ghz. It should be easy. What to you recommend as a 1GIG stick, other than g-skill since we can't buy this in canada, or it's rare.

Please help !!! I can't find G.skill sticks in Canada! And now I understood DFI nf3 doesn't support 1gig sticks, so I need a kit 2X512. Ok now I raise my budget a bit. 130$ CAN

What could be the best 2X512 kit for 130$CAN for my DFI NF3 250 ON THIS WEBSITE?

Please, I know I ask you a lot, but i'm newbie and this is the only good store in Canada with good prices, or else they have a "price match" feature...

That ncix.com website really sucks, theres no selection of any kind there. I don't know why you keep referring to it. Is it because Canadians can't use newegg? Anyways.. If you can't find G.skills in Canada, Go with OCZ or mushkin. Dont get crucial, dont get kingston, dont get corsair. Also, you can always try ebay if you cant find something you want normally.

Also, Read this: http://www.dfi-street.com/forum/showthread.php?t=24719

yes, newegg doesn't ship to canada, I tought you know that.. This is why I ask you for help.. and when you say ncix sucks don't forget that's canadian dollars. Also some rebates are hidden, you need to click on the "super sale III" link..

I think i'll go for theses: http://www.ncix.com/products/index.php?sku...CZ%20Technology

I looked for the same memory on http://www.tankguys.biz/memory-pc3200-c-46_86_91.html and they are more expensive!

Is it a good choice or I should look elsewhere? there's a 20$ mail-in rebate and a fast shipping rebate
