msg73801 Posted September 18, 2003 Posted September 18, 2003 I'm needing some help with networking with a windwows 95 machine and a windows xp pro machine. I have all of the network cable a linksys 5 port network hub and a 10 mb ethernet card and a 100mb ethernet card. I have networked with winxp machines together but never a win xp to a win 95 machine. I tried to use the win xp network setup disk but my operating system is to old and i don't have enouph memory to upgrade to win 98. could someone help me with some guides or something of that nature. O(V)eGA_l2el) Posted September 18, 2003 Posted September 18, 2003 Hmm I have networked XP Pro and Win98 before (but it was along time ago) I remember the 98 machine had to install drivers or something from the XP Pro machine via a floppy drive.
